What I have done and been doing!

I am a Contributor in GirlScript Summer of Code as a passion for open source where I -

  • Worked on an MLOps diagnostic tool and fixed a drift correlation bug, improving model failure detection.
  • Implemented graceful degradation for external service failures in Karbon AI web builder application, which is basically wrapping the API calls in try and except block ensuring that the errors are handles gracefully and the users can easily identify them.

I am also a Teaching Assistant for the course Data Analytics in PES University since June 2025. Here I -

  • Designed time series & demand forecasting worksheets for students.
  • Recorded AV lectures on data preprocessing & wavelet transforms for Pesu Academy.

I also interned in CODMAV (Center of Data Modelling and Visualization) in PES University from June 2024 to Aug 2024 where I -

  • Conducted ML-based predictive analytics for early lung cancer risk**.
  • Improved model performance by 20% via feature selection & dimensionality reduction.
  • Co-authored a paper presented at IEEE InC4 2025.

Co-curricular

I was the Head of Operations in ACM - Association for Computing Machinery where I led a team of around 15+ members organizing flagship hackathon Hacknight seeing 250+ participants in my beloved EC Campus.
I was also the maintainer of Simul8 repo (C++ Raylib simulations), where I handled 20+ contributions & mentored 7+ students. This is one of the most fun event that takes place in our college and it was a blast as always!!

I also took part in the Adobe India Hackathon 2025 and advanced to Round 2 after clearing an online assessment, we were 2 people who took part in this together and our average scores were enough to qualify after a highly competitive assessment. In this round we built a AI-powered document intelligence system to extract structured outlines (H1–H3) from PDFs using Python & Docker.

Oh! and I also achieved rank 37 all India in Hashtag Kalakar Arts and Painting Competition! Had submitted a few animal sketches of mine which received lots of love in the form of likes and comments that helped me secure this rank.

I have played Volleyball in my school days too! Our school had a solid team and we used to dominate under 18 tournaments. :)
